The industrial production index for September and last month, which shows the production activities of companies, was 89.5 with 2015 as 100, down 5.4% from the previous month, the third consecutive month of decline.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry maintained the keynote judgment that "production is at a standstill."
