  Over the past 40 years since the establishment of the Xiamen Special Economic Zone, Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwanese enterprises have seized opportunities and continued to develop their confidence in deepening the mainland and increasing capital and production.

Official data show that Xiamen has actually utilized more than 11 billion US dollars of Taiwanese capital, and the industrial output value of Taiwanese enterprises accounts for one-third of Xiamen's total industrial output value above designated size.
