Equipped with a motor powered by solar energy, the vehicle built by students of the Technical University of Eindhoven (Netherlands) recently distinguished itself.
Named Stella Vita, it traveled from the Dutch city to Tarifa, Spain, with the sun's rays for only fuel.
Equipped with solar panels with an area of 17.5 m2, the "car" requires 2 to 3 days to fully recharge its battery with a capacity of 60 kWh.
Very aerodynamic, it is able to travel 600 to 730 km with a load.
It is also very practical since it is equipped like a motorhome, which makes it a car to live in.
This is precisely what piqued the interest of Mobilize, the new Renault group brand.
