Cryptocurrency expert expects Bitcoin to reach $100,000

Aaron Chomsky, head of fund investing in the crypto-asset market, ICB Fund, stated that by the end of the month, the price of Bitcoin is likely to reach $68.5-70 thousand, but that it is unlikely to encounter serious resistance, and by the end of the year, it may rise to $85,000, and maybe $100,000.

In an interview with "Izvestia", Chomsky talked about the possibility of increasing the value of the cryptocurrency "Bitcoin" by the end of the year to reach the threshold of 100,000 dollars.

"After breaking its all-time high in April, at $64,850, Bitcoin has removed an obstacle to a continued rally, which in the long run could lead to six-digit values," he continued.

According to him, the movement in the medium term, by its nature, may correspond to the dynamics of November 2020 and April 2021. At that time, the reason is to expect the approval of the Bitcoin ETFs and the adoption of more Cryptocurrencies.

After the commission allowed the launch of an ETF based on futures contracts traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the market gained the required legitimacy of a new asset class.

According to the expert, the growth of inflationary expectations on the back of rising raw material prices, a global shortage of chips and ongoing disruptions in supply chains could increase interest in the premier cryptocurrency.

The limited supply will also contribute to the growth of Bitcoin, as exchange balances have fallen to the minimum in three years, and most investors are beginning to adhere to the cumulative behavior model, as evidenced by the on-chain data.

Chomsky noted that there are no reasons for the formation of a correction and reversal in the price of Bitcoin.

Closing Chinese merchant accounts through centralized platforms at the end of the year "may not have a tangible impact," he said, adding that many crypto investors are currently buying accounts that have passed KYC (a method of verifying a customer's identity), mastering VPN and DeFi protocols.

In general, the audience of cryptocurrency holders is growing.

He expected their number to rise from 200 million now to one billion in the next four years.
