Taking up Porsche's RS recipe, which combines lightness, top-level performance and exceptional handling, it promises to be one of the most exciting sports cars of this year.
On the Nürburgring circuit, driver Jörg Bergmeister completed one lap in 7'09''300, which is 23.6 seconds faster than the record set by the Cayman 718 GT4 from which it derives.
An incredible feat!
Porsche insists the car was standard, just fitted with “race” seats and optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires.
So far, the German manufacturer has not revealed any details regarding the mechanics of this impressive looking car.
