The guarantee of supply to the Northeast is listed as the focus

  The latest news from the railway shows that since the heating season, the main coal transportation routes of the China Railway Hohhot Bureau include: Baotou to Tangshan, Jining to Tongliao, Xilinhot to Ulanhot and other railway backbone transportation channels.

  The reporter learned that in October, the China Railway Hohhot Bureau was unusually busy. The data showed that the bureau shipped an average of 460,000 tons of thermal coal (coal for power generation) every day. Touyao, Hantai North Sichuan, Xilinhot and other major coal producing areas.

  In view of the fact that some parts of Northeast China have begun to supply heating, the bureau has now prioritized the protection of coal transportation in the Northeast.

Improve Ordos coal export capacity

  As we all know, Ordos City is an important coal-producing area in China. While the coal produced by the city meets the consumption of its own and neighboring regions, it also supplies coal to North, East, South, and Northeast China.

  Since entering the heating season, the reporter has noticed that in the Gaotouyao mining area, the main coal producing area in Ordos, coal carts have lined up, and the railway coal loading point not far from the mining area is also busy.

  In the Bojianghaizi Coal Mine in Dongsheng District, Ordos City, since October, the coal produced here has been supplied to major power plants in central and western Inner Mongolia to ensure the local power supply in Inner Mongolia and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

In the Bayangol Coal Mine in Wushen Banner, Ordos City, it is now at full capacity after the nuclear increase in production. The daily output of coal is more than 20,000 tons, which is sent to North China, Northeast China and other regions by rail.

  China Railway Hohhot Bureau stated that in terms of foreign transportation, it will also enhance the coal transportation capacity through the Baoxi Railway.

  The Baoxi Railway traverses the Ordos coal production area. The railway department stated that it will optimize and adjust its transportation capacity, give full play to the advantages of the Baoxi Railway’s large coal transportation channel, give priority to the loading of electric coal at stations along the way, speed up the circulation of special railway lines, and enhance the outbound capacity.

Give full play to the function of imported coal

  In terms of coal supply, the railway sector has also extended its tentacles to imported coal, and the importing country is Mongolia.

  Xia Liang, head of the News Section of the Propaganda Department of the Bureau, told reporters that in terms of improving port capacity, the railway department will play a role in importing Mongolian coal from railway ports such as Erenhot, Ceke, and Ganqimaodu, and promptly resolve cargo clearance, train inspections, and vehicle handovers. , The quality of the marshalling, the delivery of bills and other aspects of the joint issues, simplify the customs clearance procedures, and ensure the rapid customs clearance of imported coal.

  "Since October, imported coal has averaged 9013 tons per day, providing sufficient guarantee for the supply of electricity and coal." Xia Liang said.

  It is worth mentioning that the railway department has also launched a new strategy of "environmental coal transportation" during this time of foreign coal transportation.

  According to reports, in order to implement the central government’s deployment requirements for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the railway department has added a spray device on the 10,000-ton coal loading line to evenly spray dust suppressants on the loaded coal trains to form a surface. The protective film prevents coal dust from being raised during train operation, and realizes dust suppression and environmental protection of vehicles and vehicles.
