Earlier, the head of the Naftogaz Ukrainy company, Yuriy Vitrenko, announced the filing of an application for participation in the certification of the Nord Stream 2 operator. 

The head of Naftogaz also noted that the assessment of the decision on the certification of the gas pipeline could take up to four months from the European Commission.

The construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was fully completed on 10 September.
