As the first activity of the training camp for young leaders in new finance, the trainees went to Huawei Shanghai Research Institute for research in the afternoon.

  Xie Jun, CTO of Huawei EBG Finance, led the training camp to visit the showroom of Huawei Shanghai Research Institute, and introduced 5G R&D applications and smart city construction to the trainees. The trainees experienced a number of Huawei's cutting-edge technologies on site.

  During the course exchange session, Xie Jun and the students shared Huawei’s innovative ideas and introduced Huawei’s corporate management culture of “customer-centric, struggling-oriented, and hard work”.

  Subsequently, Wu Jiashi, partner of PwC China's risk control services, brought a course with the theme of "Technology Drives Finance 4.0 Era" to the students, and shared the direction of future financial industry technology construction with the students.

  In September of this year, the 2021 New Finance Youth Leaders Training Camp launched global recruitment. After multiple rounds of review, five outstanding topics were finally selected.

Next, under the guidance of professional instructors, young students will receive intensive rotation training on the frontiers of overseas financial technology, artificial intelligence and financial technology, and conduct real-case competitions, project incubation, and talent introduction as a team.

  According to reports, the New Financial Young Leaders Program has been incorporated into the Shanghai "Sea Gathering Talents" program.

The plan aims to promote the rise of new financial youth forces, cultivate leading young talents and incubate technological innovation projects, and assist major national strategies such as the construction of Shanghai's international financial center and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
