[Explanation] On October 15th, the national large-scale wind power photovoltaic base Hainan and Haixi base projects were held simultaneously in Gonghe County, Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai Province, and Golmud City, Haixi Prefecture.
[Explanation] The large-scale wind power photovoltaic base project under construction this time includes 8 on-site consumption and 7 Qingyu DC Phase II delivery projects, with a total installed capacity of 10.9 million kilowatts.
According to energy category, photovoltaic power is 8 million kilowatts, wind power is 2.5 million kilowatts, and solar heat is 400,000 kilowatts; by region, Hainan Prefecture is 6.4 million kilowatts and Haixi Prefecture is 4.5 million kilowatts.
The total investment of the project exceeds 65 billion yuan, involving 10 new energy companies, which will be completed and connected to the grid by the end of 2023.
[Explanation] Strong sunlight and strong wind are the main characteristics of deserts, Gobi, and deserts. These areas are also rich in solar and wind energy resources in China.
Qinghai's desertified land resources that can be used for clean energy development amount to more than 100,000 square kilometers, and the advantages of clean energy resources are significant.
The theoretically developable photovoltaic resource is 3.5 billion kilowatts, ranking first in the country, and the cost of photovoltaic power generation is the lowest in the country.
The exploitable wind energy technology is 75.55 million kilowatts, which ranks among the top in the country, and the potential for low-wind speed wind power development is huge.
