The Dubai Land Department is preparing to display its most prominent digital services, through its participation in the 41st edition of “GITEX Technology Week 2021”, which is one of the largest technology exhibitions in the world, and whose activities are scheduled to start at the Dubai World Trade Center, during the period from 17 to 21 October.

Dubai Land Department will highlight the comprehensive services in the "Dubai Rest" application, which was self-developed by the department, to be the first digital platform for real estate in the region, allowing users to make real estate decisions, through an integrated set of digital procedures, and without the need for paper documents. This contributes to the consolidation of the emirate's position as a global destination for real estate investment, by reducing procedures, keeping pace with the latest developments in technology, and relying on a digital work system, which is the most advanced in the world, in addition to the digital services available on the department's website.

The department's platform will also provide the public, investors and owners with the "Update Your Data" service, which will update the contact numbers and personal information of each customer to ensure the continuity of its services.

The Director-General of the Dubai Land Department, Sultan Butti bin Mejren, said that the department is always looking forward to presenting the latest developments in digital technology, especially with regard to the economic aspect of real estate, to facilitate all dealers to complete their transactions easily and completely.

He stressed that the department is continuing to develop its services, facilitate the journey of its customers, support efforts towards smart and digital transformation, and contribute to maintaining the high level of quality in providing digital services to members of society and its various groups. International, employing artificial intelligence technology to serve the real estate sector and its customers, and empowering it as the world's first real estate destination in innovation, trust and happiness.

He continued: "Our participation in (GITEX Technology Week 2021) comes to review our digital services that are now available on the innovative and integrated (Dubai Rest) application, and on our website, as well as sharing our experiences with various categories of participants, and benefiting from their experiences at the same time."

Bin Mejren pointed out that the digital, technical and scientific superiority of the UAE is at the heart of the leadership's vision, which is why it was among the 10 principles of the "Fifty Charter" announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
