The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River is one of the first golden tourist routes recommended by China to the world. Twelve years ago, Hubei and Chongqing ended their respective festival history and jointly organized the Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival.

The two places highlight the Three Gorges scenery, regional culture and landscape characteristics, reflect the mass nature and participation of the tourism festival, promote the integrated development of tourism in the Three Gorges, and coordinate the creation of the Yangtze Three Gorges International Golden Tourism Belt.
Man Hongwei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bureau of International Exchange and Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, said that Hubei and Chongqing will jointly host the Three Gorges International Tourism Festival.
