The press service of the Ministry of Finance informs about it.

Siluanov spoke about the risks of a stagflationary scenario in the global economy.

He drew attention to the fact that already in 14 G20 countries inflation exceeds the target.

The minister added that in many developed countries the scale of inflationary pressures is unprecedented.

According to the Ministry of Finance, this was due to the use of incentives disproportionate to the possibilities for economic recovery.

"The minister said that Russia adheres to the trajectory of normalizing budgetary and monetary policy and recommended that the G20 countries also move to an early normalization in order to control inflation," the ministry said.

Siluanov added that now "it is important to prevent the unwinding of the stagflationary spiral."

Earlier it was reported that the US Federal Reserve has worsened its forecasts for unemployment and GDP growth and raised the forecast for inflation.
