"We are ready to keep this contract," Putin said in response to a question whether Russia is ready after 2024 to extend its obligations to pump gas through Ukraine.
According to him, if economic and technological conditions are created, the Russian side is also ready to increase the volume of gas pumping.
Putin added that when making a decision, the Russian side needs to understand "how much gas will be bought."
