  According to the National Energy Administration, in September, China's economy continued to recover steadily, and the electricity consumption of the whole society continued to grow, reaching 694.7 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year, and an average growth rate of 7.4% over the two years.

  In terms of monthly electricity consumption by industry, in September, the primary industry consumed 9.7 billion kWh, an increase of 14.9% year-on-year; the secondary industry consumed 445.1 billion kWh, an increase of 6.0% year-on-year; Electricity consumption was 129.2 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%; urban and rural residents consumed 110.7 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%.

  China's power industry has shown a trend of tightness recently, and some regions have also seen power cuts.

Officials predict that this winter, affected by factors such as stable economic growth and rapid increase in heating and electricity consumption, the country's highest electricity load is expected to gradually rise and may exceed the peaks of this summer and last winter.

  However, the relevant person in charge of China’s National Development and Reform Commission emphasized that China’s total installed capacity will reach about 2.4 billion kilowatts this winter, an increase of about 200 million kilowatts year-on-year. The effective peak load will increase by more than 60 million kilowatts, and the peak power generation capacity can exceed 1.2 billion kilowatts. The country's largest power generation capacity can guarantee the highest power load demand.
