The China-Europe Express Train (Qilu) is operated under the overall planning and operation of Shandong High Speed Group.
According to the group, the above-mentioned train was issued by the Belarusian China-Belarus Industrial Park and arrived in Qingdao smoothly after 20 days.
This is another achievement of the China-Europe Express (Qilu) to expand the return source of goods and optimize the operation model.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, international shipping and air transportation channels have been blocked, and a large number of goods have been diverted to China-Europe freight trains. This has led to a surge in demand for capacity. Affected by objective conditions, China-Europe freight trains have become tight.
According to the Shandong Expressway Group, in order to ease the surge in transportation pressure due to the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, in the fourth quarter of this year, the Shandong Zhong-Europe Express (Qilu) newly added "Lancun West-Alashankou Border" and "Manzhouli (Boundary)-Jixi" "2 plans to determine the route.
On the same day, one of the newly added lines, "West of Lancun-Alashankou", the first train departed from the Qingdao Multimodal Transport Center in the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone.
The train has a total of 100 TEUs, carrying machinery and equipment, daily necessities and other goods, worth about 3.5 million U.S. dollars, and will leave the country through the Alashankou port and arrive in Moscow in about 12 days.
In order to give full play to the role of the China-Europe train (Qilu) as a channel and help the development of foreign trade economy, Shandong High Speed Group actively coordinated to increase the number of scheduled routes and the frequency of scheduled trains for the Shandong China-Europe train, and launched special trains and customized trains to attract 24 enterprises have settled in Shandong, realizing the role of China-Europe Express trains in introducing and helping industry agglomeration.
For the next development of China-Europe Express Train (Qilu), Shandong High Speed Group will further optimize the operation model, improve the operational quality of the train, increase the development of the return source market, and expand the “train + cold chain”, “train + cross-border” E-commerce", "Class Train + Finance" and other new formats and models, through the development of "Class Train +" business to promote the upgrade of the industrial chain, supply chain, and value chain, and actively participate in the construction of an international logistics center in the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone.
In the first nine months of this year, the China-Europe Express (Qilu) had a total of 1,335 trains, a year-on-year increase of 16%.
Up to now, the train has a total of 50 operating routes, which can directly reach 52 cities in 22 countries along the “Belt and Road” route.
