  In terms of subregions, the report pointed out that in the third quarter of 2021, the popularity of new houses in key cities around Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou-Shenzhen all declined year-on-year.

The report believes that more than 10 cities have announced the reference price of second-hand housing, and the effect of regulation and control has initially appeared.

  Looking back at the first three quarters, the report pointed out that more than 80% of the control policies were introduced in the first half of the year, with first-tier cities and hotspot cities being the most stringent.

According to statistics, 39 national policies were issued in the first three quarters, involving finance, market regulation, population, and regional planning. 194 urban policies were issued, of which 114 were issued in first-tier cities, and about 80 were issued in 16 key second- and third-tier cities.
