From January to September this year, the national automobile production and sales were 18.243 million and 18.623 million, an increase of 7.5% and 8.7% year-on-year, and the growth rate continued to fall from January to August.
"From the situation of the month, the tight supply of chips eased slightly, but it still could not meet the production needs. Coupled with the high base in the same period last year, automobile production and sales increased month-on-month but decreased year-on-year. Among them, the decline of commercial vehicles is even more obvious.
Data show that in September, the national commercial vehicle production and sales reached 310,000 and 317,000 respectively, an increase of 35.6% and 28.3% from the previous month, and a year-on-year decrease of 35.2% and 33.6%.
Among the main types of commercial vehicles, the production and sales of trucks and buses have increased compared with the previous month, and the growth rate of trucks has been more obvious; compared with the same period last year, the production and sales of passenger cars have declined slightly, and the decline of trucks has remained significant.
The new energy vehicle market performed well, with production and sales hitting a record high.
The data shows that in September, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 353,000 and 357,000, respectively, a month-on-month increase of 14.5% and 11.4%, and a year-on-year increase of 1.5 times.
From January to September this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 2.166 million and 2.157 million respectively, an increase of 1.8 times and 1.9 times year-on-year, and the market penetration rate increased to 11.6%.
According to the analysis of the China Automobile Association, in September this year, while the national energy consumption is dually controlled, due to the shortage of coal supply and the inversion of coal and electricity prices, the implementation of orderly electricity consumption across the country has affected the production of enterprises.
Superimposed on factors such as overall high commodity prices and high international logistics costs, both ends of the manufacturing industry's supply and demand have slowed down.
In particular, the automotive industry continues to be affected by the shortage of chip supply, so the operating pressure is still very high.
Looking forward to the fourth quarter, the macro economy is stable and improving, and automobile consumer demand remains stable.
On the other hand, the supply side is still uncertain. The overall supply of chips in the fourth quarter is expected to be better than that in the third quarter, but the supply of chips is still short; All high positions will further increase the cost pressure of enterprises and affect the operation of the industry to a certain extent.
