The Fuling shale gas field is located in Fuling District, Chongqing City. It has been developed and constructed in December 2012 and built a production base with an annual production capacity of 10 billion cubic meters as scheduled in 2017. It is now the sixth largest natural gas field in my country and one of the important gas sources for the Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline. .
The Fuling shale gas field is the first national-level shale gas demonstration zone and exploration and development demonstration base to be established.
Based on independent research and development, Sinopec started from scratch, innovated and integrated five technological systems with the characteristics of Fuling shale gas development, and realized the efficient development of shallow overpressure shale gas reservoirs of 3500 meters and the effective development of gas reservoirs of 3500 to 4000 meters.
The first China's shale gas three-dimensional development and adjustment technology system, the recovery rate of the three-dimensional development adjustment zone is as high as 39.2%, reaching the international advanced level; independent research and development of electric network drilling rigs, full-voltage cracking units, coiled tubing operating vehicles, soluble bridge plugs, etc. Equipment tools and key equipment are produced nationwide, breaking the monopoly of foreign technology.

At present, the drilling and fracturing construction cycle of the shale gas field has been reduced by about 50% compared with the initial period, and the investment of a single well has been reduced by more than 40% compared with the initial period. "Clean production method", using grid electric drilling rigs and electric drive fracturing to replace traditional diesel drive drilling and fracturing, adopting "cluster well" design and "well factory" construction to effectively save the land requisition area of a single well; shallow surface layer and two openings The vertical well section is drilled with clean water, the production wastewater is treated with fracturing fluid for reuse, and the oil-based drill cuttings are harmlessly treated and then reused to realize that the waste residue will not fall to the ground, the waste water will not be discharged, and the exhaust gas will not go to the sky.
The gas field has maintained the safety and environmental protection "Four Nothings" goal for 9 consecutive years.
It is reported that the Fuling shale gas field has accumulated proven reserves of 792.641 billion cubic meters, and the production of shale gas has exceeded 40 billion cubic meters, benefiting 6 provinces and 2 cities along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, more than 70 large and medium-sized cities, and more than 200 million residents.
The Fuling shale gas field produces nearly 20 million cubic meters of gas per day, which can provide domestic gas for more than 40 million households (equivalent to all households in three Chongqing cities).
