The full text of this white paper is about 14,000 words and consists of three parts: the preface, the main body and the conclusion.
Among them, the text includes four parts, namely: uphold the concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, improve the effectiveness of biodiversity protection, enhance biodiversity governance capabilities, and deepen global biodiversity conservation cooperation.
This white paper was published in 8 languages including Chinese, English, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Arabic, and Japanese.
Zhao Yingmin, deputy minister of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, said at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on the 8th that the white paper "China’s Biodiversity Conservation" comprehensively summarized China’s goal of building a beautiful China under the guidance of Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization and actively adapting The new situation and new requirements continue to strengthen and innovate biodiversity protection measures.
It systematically expounds the concept, actions and effects of China's biodiversity conservation that strives to promote the harmonious coexistence, virtuous circle, all-round development, and sustained prosperity of man and nature, man and man, and man and society from four aspects.
Zhao Yingmin said that the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity will be held soon.
The "United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" has also entered the "Decade of Action" to achieve global goals.
