According to the latest agricultural situation dispatch of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as of October 6, the national autumn harvest has exceeded 40%, and winter wheat in the southwest and northwest and winter rape in the Yangtze River valley have begun to be planted.

Since September, there have been multiple rounds of rainy weather in the northern southwest, eastern northwest, northern China, northern Huanghuai, and southern northeast, resulting in excessive soil moisture, partial farmland water accumulation, and obstruction of autumn harvesting and planting in some areas.

In order to effectively deal with the rainy weather and ensure that the autumn harvest and planting are not missed during the agricultural season, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued a notice on October 6 to re-mobilize and deploy the three-autumn production, requiring localities to strengthen leadership, wall chart operations, and dispatch equipment and organize manpower to grab crops.

On the same day, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a work group led by bureau-level cadres to Henan, Shandong, Hebei and other key areas to supervise and guide the production in the three autumn seasons, and promote the implementation of various measures.
