Wang Bin, deputy director of the Department of Consumption Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce, said that before the holiday, the Ministry of Commerce, together with relevant departments, released central reserve beef and mutton to 7 provinces and cities to meet the festive consumption needs of people in ethnic minority areas.
Since 2021, a total of more than 90,000 tons of central reserve pork, 8,300 tons of beef and mutton, and 42,000 tons of frozen pork have been collected and stored.
Instruct all localities to appropriately increase government reserves and organize investment in a timely manner.
Hainan and other places organized cheap vegetables to be put on the market. Qingdao has set up 120 wholesale and retail outlets in the city to organize the release of government reserves of meat and vegetables.
