As the "Franchise Expo Paris" show opens on Saturday, the franchise model is attracting more and more those who want to take the step towards entrepreneurship.

The Covid-19 health crisis has prompted many French people to take the plunge, and the momentum does not seem to fall in 2021.

Until Wednesday, 585 exhibitors from 90 business sectors will be holding a trade show at the "Franchise Expo Paris", Porte de Versailles. A healthy return after cancellations linked to the coronavirus crisis, with a wide range of sectors: flowers, chocolate, real estate, automotive, construction, catering, sport, beauty ... Various fields and solid support, two strong arguments to seduce .

"We are growing by more than 20% of applications compared to 2020, which was already a record year," says Sylvie Gaudy, director of the show.

"Franchising is one of the means that facilitates entrepreneurship because the franchise system is well established: 'We train you, we bring you know-how, we bring you a proven concept. easier and maybe faster. "

"Franchise the concept"

"Our job has completely changed from the moment we became franchisor. We did not have a guarantee of achieving it, but it has always been in our mind to franchise the concept throughout France", explains- he does.

For Mr. Albert, as for many growing franchises, the envisaged opening rate is around 10 per year, now that the hardest part of the health crisis seems to have passed.
