Jingdong Group and Hengli Group Co., Ltd. ranked second and third respectively.

  The "2021 China Top 500 Private Enterprises Survey and Analysis Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") released on the same day pointed out that the overall scale of China's top 500 private enterprises continued to grow.

The entry threshold for the top 500 private enterprises this year reached 23.501 billion yuan, an increase of 3.297 billion yuan from 2020's 20.204 billion yuan.

  In 2020, the total operating income of China's top 500 private enterprises will be 35.12 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.39%.

The total assets are 50.73 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.25%.

  In the top 500 list, 13 companies have an operating income of more than 300 billion yuan.

Among them, Huawei Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., Jingdong Group, Hengli Group Co., Ltd., Zhengwei International Group Co., Ltd., Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd. and other five companies have operating income of more than 600 billion yuan.

There are 98 enterprises with total assets of more than 100 billion yuan, an increase of 18 over the previous year.

  The total tax payment of the top 500 private enterprises reached 1.36 trillion yuan, accounting for 8.84% of China's total tax revenue, and four enterprises had a total tax payment of more than 50 billion yuan.

  The "Report" also shows that in 2020, the total export value of the top 500 private enterprises was US$132.322 billion, an increase of US$11.081 billion over the previous year, an increase of 9.14%, accounting for 5.11% of China's total exports.

  191 Fortune 500 companies participated in the “Belt and Road” construction, basically the same as the previous year.

The overseas investment of the top 500 private enterprises declined slightly. There were 229 overseas investment companies, and 1,815 overseas investment projects (enterprises), a decrease of 5.76% and 2.31% respectively; overseas revenue (excluding exports) was achieved at US$830.549 billion .

  Since 2010, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce has hosted an annual launch event for the "Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises".

It is reported that 57 of the top 500 private enterprises this year are new shortlisted companies, and 6 of them use public data disclosed by them.

The companies that withdrew from the list were mainly because they did not participate in the survey, their operating income did not reach the entry threshold, and they did not meet the criteria for entry.
