Airline KLM will nevertheless fly to more destinations in the United States now that that country is opening its borders further to foreign travelers.

The Dutch airline will offer flights to Miami and Las Vegas this winter.

KLM previously said it would temporarily cancel flights to these cities after the outgoing cabinet tightened the corona rules for people traveling from the US to Schiphol.

Those rules are being lifted.

The US, in turn, announced that it would allow vaccinated travelers from the EU and the United Kingdom again from the beginning of November.

From December 7, flights to Las Vegas and Miami will resume.

Travelers who were forced to rebook their flight earlier can change it back into a direct flight free of charge, according to KLM.
