Al-Yousef explained that she resorted to the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development to obtain a financing loan, and to benefit from its expertise in the field of small projects, stressing that the Fund approved the financing and helped her conduct the necessary feasibility study for the project.

She added that the project faced challenges after its opening in December 2018, especially since many women, especially Emiratis in Abu Dhabi, used to practice sports inside their homes, not in a public place, which required encouraging them to exercise in sports centers.

She indicated that she was keen to reduce the number of those practicing these sports in one room, to be less than the capacity even before the pandemic of the Corona virus "Covid-19", in order to provide privacy for the trainees, and to provide high-quality services during exercise.

Entrepreneur Al-Youssef confirmed that the pandemic increased the challenges facing the project, especially that it was temporarily closed for six months, less than a year and two months after its opening, on the instructions of the competent authorities, as part of the precautionary measures to confront the “Covid 19” pandemic.

And she continued: "When I reopened the project, I suffered from the persistence of some challenges, most notably the lack of interest in exercising, and the commitment to pay the workers' salaries, the rental value of the place, as well as the loan installments I obtained to implement the project."

Transparency with employees

Emirati entrepreneur Fatima Al-Yousef advised entrepreneurs who are facing difficulties to be patient and not despair or give in to options such as closing the project, with the need to take innovative decisions after consulting with specialists.

Al-Yousef stressed the importance of teamwork in entrepreneurs’ projects, with full transparency in talking about the problems facing the project with employees, and taking into account their needs in difficult circumstances, as well as the importance of cooperation with other entrepreneurs, including those working in the same field.

Emirati entrepreneur Fatima Al-Youssef said that she did not raise the idea of ​​closing the project, as a solution to confront these problems, but she resorted to finding solutions to the problems she is facing, as the property owner agreed to her request to reduce the rental value, and the Khalifa Fund agreed to postpone the payment of loan installments, In addition to launching marketing campaigns on social media, on the importance of exercising to maintain public health, emphasizing full adherence to precautionary measures, conducting regular PCR examinations, and paying more attention to continuous cleaning and sterilization operations, stressing that it has succeeded in Solve many challenges you faced.
