Indeed, between the general shapes that express the family sides, the nicely crafted front and rear faces, the details like the retractable door handles, the Marvel R has the touch of sex appeal that the first two MG models lacked.
Promise kept
Promise kept, in several senses.
First, the cabin keeps the promises of the body, being again very elegantly designed.
It is also dominated by a huge vertical central screen, through which you control the vehicle's parameters, and of course the multimedia system.
On the other hand, MG promises an electric range of 370 km for the AWD version with three engines (288 hp) and 402 km for the twin-engine version (180 hp).
Our test of the AWD version tells us that these 370 km are indeed within reach, if we do not take the highway too much.
Finally, we also withdraw this discovery that the Marvel R displays good performance, but rather has the soul turned to a plush comfort.
In short, MG sharpens his weapons, precise his shots and aims more and more accurately.
Because such a beautiful vehicle, 100% electric, with generous basic equipment, for a base price of around 40,000 € (yet to be confirmed), it is rather - very - competitive.
