The recruitment test for high school students who want to get a job next spring began nationwide on the 16th, and high school students also took the corporate test in Okinawa Prefecture.

Of these, seven high school students attended written exams and interviews at the venue of the Bank of the Ryukyus, which has its head office in Naha City.

According to the bank, the number of applicants and the number of applicants are the same as usual, and at the venue, in addition to temperature measurement, disinfection and securing of distance, infection control measures such as prohibiting people from entering and exiting were taken.

The boy who took the exam said, "I decided to get a job to help my family based on the situation in Corona. I think that he was able to demonstrate his abilities because he gave considerable consideration to infection control."

Takashi Yamauchi of the Human Resources Department said, "We also considered an online interview, but we made it face-to-face after taking proper infection control measures so that high school students could concentrate and disseminate their appeal."

According to the Okinawa Labor Bureau, the ratio of job offers to applicants for high school students in the prefecture who wish to get a job next spring is 1.08, which is the lowest in Japan for 15 consecutive years.
