A new survey conducted by Bayt.com for jobs in the Middle East, in cooperation with YouGov, a market research organization, showed that about 70% (seven out of 10 respondents) who participated in the survey in the UAE expect that technical factors (such as transformation digital, automation, artificial intelligence, and others) to change the nature of work in the future.

Previous job experience (87%), CV presentation and cover letter (83%) are considered among the most important factors for hiring talents today.

Cultural compatibility (75%), diversity (74%), and academic specialization (72%) also play a major role in making employment decisions.

Respondents said that previous job experience (77%) will remain the most influential factor on future employment decisions, followed by academic specialization (73%) and diversity (70%).
