In Bavaria that has already been a total of 83 million euros.
According to the Infection Protection Act, this is currently legally possible, he emphasized.
Not only in Bavaria is there a discussion about not compensating for non-vaccinated loss of earnings from the state that arise due to quarantine.
Baden-Württemberg had already announced this - and according to the Ministry of Health, it can be assumed that everyone will have a vaccination option by September 15.
In Rhineland-Palatinate, this is to be implemented on October 1, as the Ministry of Health announced on Thursday.
If someone does not want to be vaccinated against a corona infection, it should "not be at the expense of society," said Holetschek on ZDF.
"We just have to be consistent too."
