The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has decided to raise the discount rate from 8% to 8.5% per annum.
This is stated on the website of the Ukrainian regulator.
“The Board of the National Bank of Ukraine has decided to raise the discount rate to 8.5% per annum. In addition, the National Bank stops using anti-crisis monetary measures from the beginning of the IV quarter, ”the statement said.
Earlier, the Bank of England kept its discount rate at 0.1%.
