In annual terms, inflation was 6.74% as of September 6, ”the document says, quoted by TASS.
Earlier, the Bank of Russia reported that "in July 2021, annual inflation decreased by 0.04 percentage points to 6.46%."
The head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina noted that inflation in Russia will become a long-term phenomenon.
According to her, the Central Bank will continue to pursue a tight monetary policy.
