The Expo was originally scheduled to be held in Changchun from August 27 to 31, but was postponed to September 23 to 27 due to the epidemic and other reasons.
Feng Qingzhong, chairman of the Jilin Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, introduced that the total exhibition area of this expo is about 70,000 square meters, with a total of science and technology innovation theme pavilions, automobile pavilions, Northeast Asia national pavilions, Jilin pavilions, provincial and municipal pavilions, imported goods pavilions, and new media. There will be 1001 Chinese and foreign companies participating in the 7 exhibition halls of the live broadcast hall.
Feng Qingzhong introduced that since it was first held in 2005, the China-Northeast Asia Expo has become an important platform for Northeast Asian countries to build consensus and economic and trade cooperation, with a total of 2,822 cooperative projects signed.
Feng Qingzhong introduced that this expo adheres to the integration of epidemic prevention and control and safe exhibition, and builds an integrated service system on the cloud for the Northeast Asia Expo that includes online display, online conferences, marketing promotion, e-commerce services, etc., to facilitate online trade Docking, project promotion and investment cooperation.
Northeast Asia is one of the most dynamic regions in the world.
In 2020, the total trade volume between China and the five Northeast Asian countries is about US$717.7 billion, accounting for nearly one-sixth of China’s total foreign trade.
According to data from the Ministry of Commerce of China, in the first half of this year, the trade volume between China and the five Northeast Asian countries was approximately US$417.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 26%.
