  Feng Qingzhong introduced that since it was first held in 2005, the China-Northeast Asia Expo has become an important platform for Northeast Asian countries to build consensus and economic and trade cooperation, with a total of 2,822 cooperative projects signed.

In 2020, the total trade volume between China and the five Northeast Asian countries is about US$717.7 billion, accounting for nearly one-sixth of China’s total foreign trade.

According to data from the Ministry of Commerce of China, in the first half of this year, the trade volume between China and the five Northeast Asian countries was approximately US$417.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 26%.
