No, the Renault Mégane E-Tech does not replace the current Mégane.

Renault announces the marketing of two distinct mechanical offers: battery of 40 kWh (range 300 km) and 130 hp, battery of 60 kWh (range 470 km) and 218 hp.

Weighing only 1,624 kg (very reasonable weight for an electric of this size), the Mégane E-Tech accepts fast loads up to 130 kW (enough to recover 300 km in 30 minutes) and is able to tow a braked trailer of maximum 900 kg .
