According to him, the first gas supplies via Nord Stream 2 will begin this year.
He added that the timing of the start of supplies depends on the time of completion of the certification of the gas pipeline.
Earlier, the head of Naftogaz Ukrainy, Yuriy Vitrenko, said that a number of authorities would not allow the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to operate in a commercial mode.
