Since it is expected that the management of small and medium-sized enterprises will become more difficult due to the increase in the minimum wage after next month, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has called this month "price" so that small and medium-sized enterprises can add the increase in labor costs to the transaction price. We set it as "Negotiation Promotion Month" and asked the large companies for their cooperation.

This year's minimum wage, the largest increase ever, will be applied from next month onwards.

Small and medium-sized enterprises whose sales are declining due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection are expected to become even more difficult to manage due to the increased burden of labor costs.

For this reason, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has designated this month as "Price Negotiation Promotion Month" so that SMEs can add the increase in labor costs to the transaction price.

On the 2nd, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Kajiyama asked the owners of large companies that deal with small and medium-sized enterprises for their understanding in addition to the price.

Minister Kajiyama said, "Large companies and SMEs are partners, and it is important to promote coexistence and co-prosperity."

On the other hand, Takako Suwa, president of Daiya Seiki, a small and medium-sized enterprise, said, "The current situation is that negotiations on transaction prices are almost impossible. For the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, I want large enterprises to build a system to contract at an appropriate price. I requested.

Next month, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will investigate whether it has been possible to negotiate appropriate prices with SMEs and tens of thousands of companies.
