Clashes pitted Palestinians and the Israeli army along the border between the Hebrew state and the Palestinian enclave of Gaza during the night of Thursday, September 2 to Friday, September 3.
A young Gazan was shot dead by Israeli forces and at least 15 others were injured, according to the Gaza health ministry.
Since the end of August, young Palestinians have gathered every evening to demand in particular the end of the Israeli blockade.

Besieged since 2007, the Gazans demand an end to the triple blockade on land, air and sea imposed by Israel.
To make their demands heard, the demonstrators gathered in groups dubbed “
night unrest units
”, gathered near the border with Israel.
Their objective is to burn tires and launch projectiles in the direction of the opposing camp.
Gatherings every night
To disperse the crowd, Israeli forces retaliated by firing stun grenades and tear gas.
For several nights now, these gatherings have been taking place in different places in eastern Gaza, along the ultra-secure barrier that separates the Palestinian enclave from the territory of the Hebrew state.
Earlier this week, an Israeli sniper died of wounds following an attack from the Gaza Strip.
Since May and the ceasefire that ended eleven days of conflict between Israel and Hamas, the Islamist movement in power in Gaza, violence has continued regularly.
