Each French region has its specificities, and the economy is no exception.

Thus, as shown in this infographic from our partner Statista, which is based on recent figures from the General Directorate of Customs, the production “specialties” vary greatly from one territory to another.

In Hauts-de-France, Ile-de-France, Grand Est and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, the automobile is leading the way: it represents 10 to 19% of exports. (value).

In Brittany, it is more meat, while in New Aquitaine, drinks dominate.

Occitanie relies on aeronautics, while the South-East (Paca and Auvergne Rhône-Alpes) is more in chemicals.
