The worker and the employer share the increase by 0.1 percentage point each, so a worker whose monthly salary is 3 million won must pay an additional 3,000 won each month.
The government also announced that it would improve the finances by restructuring the employment insurance fund spending, including reducing the salaries of recurring beneficiaries.
