Another customer added: “I blocked the card as soon as I received a message stating that I had purchased a meal for 83 dirhams, from one of the outlets in the Emirate of Dubai, while I was in Abu Dhabi. the card".

For his part, the banking expert, Muhannad Awni, said, “The fraudsters are constantly developing their methods, which calls for constant caution against any messages received via e-mail, as banks usually inquire about the transactions they suspect in different ways, such as direct contact with the customer or Send a text message via mobile phone.

Awni added: “It is important that messages with attached links not be responded to, and you should never click on any link or disclose bank card data, and the customer must communicate with the bank, to make sure of any message in which the matter is confused,” noting the importance of customer retention. The application of the bank he deals with is available all the time on his phone, for such emergencies.

He stated that the customer's submission of any information such as the card's secret number or the identification number on the back of the card, exposes him to a fraud process, which may lead to the loss of his money or savings in his account.
