According to the government, the decision will help create favorable conditions for the implementation of new investment projects.

For example, a greenhouse complex and an enterprise for growing grain crops (wheat, rapeseed, flax) will be built in the Zabaikalye ASEZ in the coming years.

"This will allow attracting at least 4 billion rubles of private investment to the region and create about 240 jobs," the government said.

The Snezhinsk ASEZ plans to launch five new projects, which include the opening of industrial enterprises for the production of anti-corrosion and fire-retardant paints and varnishes, as well as ceramic tiles, recycling polystyrene and polypropylene waste, applying metal coatings to steel pipes and manufacturing thermal insulating cases.

This will attract 2.9 billion rubles of private investment and create more than 370 new jobs, the press service said.
