In the future, it will be difficult to get a credit loan above the annual salary from major banks or to break through a negative account of more than 50 million won.

The five major domestic commercial banks, including KB and Shinhan Bank, as well as foreign banks and internet banks, recently submitted a plan to the Financial Supervisory Service to reduce the maximum amount of most credit loan products to less than annual income.

In particular, KB Kookmin Bank is known to include in its plan that the maximum limit for negative bankbook loans will be limited to 50 million won from next month.

Previously, Hana Bank lowered the negative account limit to 50 million won each, starting on the 27th, and Woori and Shinhan Bank at the beginning of this year.

The timing of the implementation of 'credit within salary' varies from bank to bank, but it is likely that most banks will enter into loan regulation before the middle of next month.
