October futures for WTI crude oil rose 1.08% to $ 68.15 per barrel.

Brent crude oil futures for October delivery increased 1.13% to $ 71.87 per barrel.

Earlier, Stanislav Mitrakhovich, a leading expert of the National Energy Security Fund, lecturer at the Financial University under the Government of Russia, in an interview with FBA "Economics Today" said that Russia's return to the pre-pandemic level of oil production will depend on the viability of the stopped fields.
