  It turned out that 76 steel truss girders need to be hoisted for the entire bridge, and the closed beam section weighs more than 240 tons, which is very difficult to operate due to terrain restrictions.

"More than 200 meters from the lake surface, the steel truss beam has to rotate 90 degrees in the air, and the maximum translational transportation is nearly 1,100 meters, which is rare in the construction of the same type of bridge." Wang Chaoguo said.

  It is expected that the Wengkai Expressway to which the Kaizhou Lake Bridge belongs will be completely completed by the end of December this year.

After opening to traffic, the journey time from Weng'an to Kaiyang will be shortened from 2 hours and 40 minutes to 46 minutes, which can greatly improve the transportation efficiency of local phosphorous chemical products.
