Recently, the reporter walked into the production workshop of the hanger production base located in the outskirts of Lipu City. The semi-mechanized production workshop machines roared and workers were busy sawing and assembling wooden hangers, hooking and baking paint, and labeling and packaging boxes.

　　[Explanation] In the late 1980s, Qin Yuxiang, the founder of the first company specializing in the production of clothes hangers in Lipu City, in order to complete the task of foreign trade orders, and 10 workers through their own design sketches, developed semi-automatic machinery for auxiliary production, using bicycle wheels It took six months to process and deliver 100,000 wooden hangers with steel wire as hanger hooks.

　　At that time, there were no hooks for this hanger on the market. The first batch of products were looped with the steel wire of a bicycle. I think the sample was eaten (twisted) with half of the thread (hub wire).

The (hanger) made 30,000 or 40,000 (units) with steel wire, and we can only deliver the orders in the winter until winter.

　　[Explanation] Seeing the huge potential of the market, since 1991, the hanger production and processing enterprises in Lipu have sprung up like bamboo shoots after a rain. Nowadays, it has not only realized the combination of mechanization and automation, but the order production mode of hangers has greatly improved the hanger enterprises' Processing production capacity and foreign exchange earnings have also effectively promoted the production, processing and development of Lipu hanger extension supporting products, and has formed a relatively complete hanger manufacturing industry chain cluster.

　　We can achieve this increase in output through the transformation and upgrading of equipment. At that time, one or two thousand (hangers) a day was very good. Now we are about 300,000 to 400,000 a day, which is basically a 20-fold increase.

Our products are mainly sold to Europe and the United States, and now we make about 100 to 120 million units a year.

　　[Explanation] Industrial development has made the living environment of Lipu City change with each passing day. The narrow roads and less greenery in Lipu have also "changed their faces". The city's Binjiang Road embankment, green belt and Huancheng Road have been renovated.

The wide river embankment trails and the hanger museum square have become a good place for the people to relax, and the local people's "money bags" are gradually bulging.

According to statistics, compared with Lipu's annual per capita net income of 621.56 yuan in 1989, in 2020, the per capita disposable income of local residents in Lipu has reached 27,183 yuan.

In 2020, the output value of the hanger furniture industry in Lipu City is nearly 2 billion yuan, of which more than 80% are exported to Europe, America, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions, and the output and export volume account for about 70% of the national market share.
