Emirates Airlines intends to enhance its service to the Sultanate of Oman, as the carrier announced yesterday that it will add a fourth weekly flight between Dubai and Muscat, starting from August 28. The increase in flights to and from Muscat will provide more connectivity options for customers traveling to and through Dubai, to the airline's growing global network, as well as for customers visiting the Sultanate. This announcement coincides with the Sultanate's preparations to reopen its borders to tourists who hold an approved vaccination certificate, as of September 1, 2021. The new flight will contribute to meeting demand and providing greater flexibility, choice and communication for customers while planning their travels.

As of August 28, flight EK866 will depart from Dubai International Airport at 2:15 am, and arrive in Muscat at 3:30 am. As for the return flight, EK867, it will leave Muscat International Airport at 4:40 am, arriving in Dubai at 5:55 am. Customers can book tickets on emirates.com, the Emirates app, its sales offices, and through travel agents, as well as online travel agents. As more countries in the world reopen their borders and ease restrictions on international travel, Emirates Airlines continues to expand its network safely and sustainably. The carrier has resumed passenger services to more than 120 destinations, and has restored about 90% of its pre-pandemic network. Customers can stop by or fly to Dubai, a city open to business visitors and international tourists. To ensure the safety of travelers, visitors and the community, a negative PCR test for “Covid-19” is mandatory for all arrivals to Dubai and for transit passengers.Since resuming its tourism activity safely in July 2020, Dubai has maintained its position as one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, as the city has opened its doors to international business and leisure visitors, providing them with a variety of world-class experiences. Dubai is also one of the first cities in the world to receive the Safe Travel Seal from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), which is a testament to the effectiveness of Dubai's comprehensive measures to ensure the health and safety of guests.
