According to the forecast of the Ministry of Health, 3.9 million cases of COVID-19 infection may be detected in Russia during this period.

It is noted that medical care within the hospital may require 20% of this figure, that is, a little more than 784 thousand hospitalizations will be carried out.

It is noted that in the first half of the year, the MHIF spent 218 billion rubles on helping patients with coronavirus, the overwhelming part of which (208.8 billion rubles) was spent on providing care in a hospital.

It is clarified that since the beginning of the year, 1.5 million patients with coronavirus have been hospitalized in the country.

The average cost of hospitalization for one patient with COVID-19 was 135.4 thousand rubles.
