Important update for travel from "Etihad Airways"

Etihad Airways said that passengers on its flights must register through the smart travel service of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, starting from the 27th of August.

In an update on its website, it clarified that the registration should take place 5 days before the date of the flight to Abu Dhabi, and that if the flight was scheduled for the 27th of this month, the traveler should register as soon as possible.

The Federation stressed that the registration does not apply to citizens of the country or to transit passengers.

The service allows recording passenger data, data for obtaining the vaccine for vaccinated and non-vaccinated people, and data related to the PCR examination and its result, which contributes to facilitating the procedures for access to the country.

At the same time, she noted the necessity of conducting a "BCR" examination before traveling to Abu Dhabi, explaining that the date of the examination is determined according to the country from which the "Etihad guest" travels.
