The "Notice" clarified that by 2023, a group of household appliance manufacturers will develop a demonstration benchmark for the implementation of the recycling target responsibility system, and form a batch of reproducible and extendable recycling and treatment models and experience practices. The standardized recycling rate of key household appliances will be significantly improved. The ability and level of the main body of the home appliance recycling and processing market has been significantly improved.
Responsibility decomposition, covering all links of recycling

"The "Notice" quantifies the recycling responsibilities that producers should perform, which is an important means to further implement the extended producer responsibility system. The "Notice" clearly states that home appliance manufacturers are encouraged to build a reverse recycling system for waste home appliances based on product sales and maintenance service networks. Further optimize the recycling channels, smooth the production, circulation, consumption and recycling of home appliances, and point out the direction for home appliance manufacturers to better fulfill their recycling responsibilities." Wang Xuejun said that the reverse logistics of home appliance products is very complicated. The "Notice" supports responsible companies in building an information system covering the recycling, transportation, and disposal of home appliances, adopting uniform codes and transshipment orders to realize the traceability of the entire recycling process.

Circular development, the industry is moving towards high quality
According to estimates, at present, the number of household appliances in my country has exceeded 2.1 billion units, and the amount of electricity used to eliminate waste homes reaches 100 to 190 million units every year, and it is increasing at an average annual growth rate of 20%.
Among them, waste home appliances are recycled through formal channels, and the proportion of environmentally friendly dismantling and recycling is only about 44%.
This status quo is not only a challenge but also an opportunity for the home appliance industry.
