  The main contents of the "Notice" are as follows:

  (1) Clarify the scope of trading.

  The first is to clarify that RMB commemorative coins, renminbi that have ceased circulation, and renminbi binding products approved by the People’s Bank of China before the cancellation of the "bound and circulating renminbi approval" can be bought and sold, and circulating renminbi other than ordinary commemorative coins (hereinafter referred to as renminbi in circulation) cannot be bought and sold. .

At the same time, the requirement that "ordinary commemorative coins are only allowed to be exchanged for equivalent value within one year from the date of issuance" has been abolished.

  The third is to regulate the purchase and promotion of foreign currencies as commodities in China, and it is clear that imitation products that are similar to the specifications, patterns, and colors of foreign currencies are not allowed to be bought and sold.
