Objective: to avoid the postponement of the start of the new school year on September 1st.

The tests will verify whether students have ever been affected by the coronavirus without knowing it.

No quarantine for children who have developed enough antibodies even if they are in contact with infected people.

This is what is foreseen in this project which is carried out jointly by the ministries of health and education and also by the health services of the Israeli army.

One in 5 infected children without symptoms

This campaign of free serological tests by simple finger prick is intended for children aged 3 to 12 years.

Adolescents can, since the beginning of the summer, receive the double dose of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine.

Last week a pilot program was carried out among the ultra-Orthodox community in the town of Bnei Braq.

It turns out that one in 5 children has already been infected without showing any symptoms.
